Alex Suprin CPCU– General Manager

Alex is MUNICOM's General Manager.  He ensures great service, timely reporting and excellent communication are provided on every claim. Alex's experience in insurance restoration services and general contracting are a plus in servicing and processing claims. Alex is a lifelong boating enthusiast, Navy Veteran, and Merchant Marine Officer who spent 7 years as a professional yacht captain.  Alex gives MUNICOM the unique ability to adjust marine claims.  Prior to joining MUNICOM, Alex was General Manager for a ServiceMaster franchise.  His restoration background also allows him to estimate damages quickly and understand the necessary repairs to restore a property to pre-loss condition. Alex is certified in mold, water, and fire damage restoration and holds the designation of CPCU.

Alex is licensed in Massachusetts, Connecticut and Rhode Island.

Jamie Fauteux - General Adjuster

Jamie brings to MUNICOM a background in occupational safety and health, with knowledge of asbestos abatement, industrial hygiene, and injury prevention in job-related settings. His expertise in this area has facilitated the understanding and identification of potential hazards during site inspections of losses both large and small. In addition, Jamie has over 18 years of experience adjusting and estimating commercial and residential claims in excess of $1,000,000. With his unique skill set, Jamie is truly an asset to our diverse and growing team.

Jamie is licensed in Connecticut and Rhode Island as a Property and Casualty Adjuster.

Matt Mitchell CPCU - Senior Claims Adjuster

Matt has been working in the Insurance Claims industry since graduating from Suffolk University in 2000.  Matt has extensive experience handling all types of insurance claims specializing in Residential and Commercial Property claims as well as experience with Commercial and Residential Auto and Property Liability claims, including Bodily Injury claim settlements and litigation management.  Matt adds experience with alternative dispute resolution and claims mediation, adding experience as a named Appraiser for property claim appraisal resolutions.  Most importantly, Matt understands the customer experience is the key to successful claim handling and he strives to make sure the insured feels their claim is the most important one his desk.  In his spare time, Matt enjoys spending time with his family, playing hockey and all sorts of outdoor sports including fishing, hiking, biking and boating.

Ryan Mateyov- Senior Claims Adjuster

Ryan is a graduate of the University of New Haven and a Connecticut native. He has experience and training as a claims professional with some of the country's largest insurers. His skills include expert use of an industry standard estimating program on-site, exemplary maintenance of his claim diary, and exceptional customer service.  Ryan has worked on catastrophe duty and has piloted a new claims system roll-out. Ryan is a well rounded adjuster with great experience in many roles. He is an avid athlete and martial arts enthusiast. Ryan lives with his wife and two daughters in central Connecticut.

Paul Suprin - Claims Adjuster

As a claims adjuster, Paul brings 40 years of banking experience, most of which was spent as a senior lending officer. In this role, Paul oversaw lending on projects to refinance existing buildings, new construction, and additions. He has had extensive training in appraisal, accounting for non-financial managers, and business administration, and currently holds a CT license for real estate sales. Paul’s professional experiences have allowed him to approach the role of claims adjuster with a deep understanding of commercial and residential properties. 

Paul holds an independent adjuster’s license in Connecticut and Rhode Island.


Kathy Suprin - Accounts Receivable

Kathy is a career educator who recently retired as principal of an early childhood magnet school where she supervised the learning of over one hundred staff members and five hundred children and managed a 93,000 square foot building and a $5,000,000 annual budget.  At MUNICOM she is responsible for billing our valued clients.  In addition she supports the work of the adjusters as requested.


Nancy Hornyak- Office Manager

Nancy is responsible for many of the tasks that keep our operation running smoothly! She maintains our proprietary claim diary, processes payments to the company, acknowledges and assigns claims, sets up claim files, assists with claim processing, and maintains communication between our clients and adjusters.  Nancy is a true "go-getter" as evidenced in her professional life as well as her hobbies and personal life.
